In 2022, Yarrow Collective started with one Alternatives to Suicide peer support group, meeting in a living room of an apartment complex in Loveland. There were 5 to 7 of us, rotating in and out of facilitation, doing what we could with the 5 to 10 hours a month we had space for given that we all had other jobs. But we carved out time to dream together, to experiment together, and to start creating the things we wished we’d had.

 

Now, in 2026, we are 12 staff, 16 facilitators, a strong Board of Directors, over 50 support groups a month, 81 hours of 1:1 support a month, our own office space, and a whole lotta love.

 

In 2024, we saw double the number of participants at peer support groups than the year prior, launched 1:1 peer support offerings, expanded peer-to-peer training opportunities, became an independent

501(c)(3), and grew our full-time peer team. In 2025, we saw over 5,000 drop-ins to our peer support group spaces and delivered over 250 hours of training.

 

Year after year has demonstrated an immense demand for peer support, which we have met the best we can while staying connected to our most important asset: Heart.
